- Babes Wodumo and Mampintsha have reportedly signed a deal with subscription service, Showmax
- The controversial couple's deal involves R3 million for the 13-episode airing of their latest reality show
- They previously ran into a legal dispute about a similar concept, Impilo, which was taken off the air last year
It turns out Babes Wodumo and Mampintsha are determined to air their lifestyle on television. The couple have reportedly signed a deal with Showmax to host a reality show about the two of them and their lives.
Sunday World reported that the deal itself is worth R3 million and involves 13 episodes of reality television. The publication also announced that it would involved insight into their tumultuous relationship, wedding preparations and current careers.
Both Babes Wodumo and Mampintsha were attached to a similar concept in 2019 titled Impilo. That project fell through after the trailer was aired and accusations were hurled that it promoted violence.
Mzansi will have to wait and see what the couple's latest offering entails. One thing's for sure, it will be filled to the brim with drama.
In previous Babes and Mandla-related news, Briefly.co.za recently reported on the alleged engagement announcement of the on-again-off-again couple.
Babes Wodumo and Mandla Maphumulo, aka Mampintsha, have gotten engaged. With all these two have been through, it is totally crazy to think that they have managed to come this far. Taking to social media with a post that has shocked many, DJ Tira shared a clip of Mampintsha proposing to Babes while she was live on air.
The video shows Mampintsha getting down on one knee next to Babes and asking for her hand in marriage, Babes was taken aback and did not know if what was happening was actually real or not.
“Congrats Babes and Mampintsha.”
Mampintsha confirmed the proposal when he posted a picture of him, Babes and a bunch of friends having a celebratory dinner. What a wow! “Late night dinner AFTER PROPOSAL.”
Social media has blown up over the proposal with some not even knowing how to feel and others being extremely happy for Babes and Mampintsha.
