Yanga Chief has opened up and shared his feelings about not being credited on AKA classic hit titled Run Jozi. The track also featured rapper K.O. Yanga sang the hook that carried the entire song but he wasn't credited for his work.

Despite being snubbed on the songs' credits, Yanga has managed to become one of the most successful rappers in the Mzansi hip-hop scene. The star has been winning awards and his songs are on high rotation on radio stations and streaming platforms.

He did not let just one unfortunate incident ruin his career in the music industry. The Utatakho hitmaker is still cool with AKA and their relationship has become more stronger then before the days of Run Jozi. They've also worked together on other big songs such as Monuments, Dream Work and Jika.

According to SAHipHopMag, Yanga told Okay Afrika in an interview that he "kind of understood" why he wasn't credited:

"I didn’t even have a single song out before that. And so I just looked at it as a challenge - one day people are going to know who did the hook. So the challenge is when people ask, 'Who’s the guy on the hook?' And if everybody can answer and say, 'It’s Yanga,' then I would’ve done my job."

On whether he still writes music for AKA, Yanga shared that Supa Mega is more than capable of writing his own music and creating his own album. Mega is expected to drop his EP titled Bhovamania on Friday, 6 November. Yanga is also preparing to drop his album titled Pop Star on 27 November. He has already dropped the lead single titled BBAF.

In other music news, Briefly.co.za reported that Riky Rick recently took to social media to tease new music. The Boss Zonke hitmaker took to Instagram and shared a video of himself in his car jamming to his upcoming songs titled Savanna Loco Pompo and Cishe Ngaposta.

Savanna Loco Pompo is an Amapiano track while Cishe Ngaposta is a hip-hop song. The star shared that he wants to go all out when he drops the hip-hop track. He said he wants to feature rappers such as Boity and Costah Titch on the new joint.

The star's fans flooded his comment section to share their reactions on the new songs. Some of them want Riky Rick to feature their favourites on Cishe Ngaposta. One of his fans samish_n commented:

"@rikyrickworld please mfeth put Blaq Diamond x okmaloomkoolkat x Dee Koala x Costa x Frank Casino on that."
