South Africa's Health Minister and legislator Dr Zweli Mkhize have just been appointed as Chairperson of the SADC Elimination 8 Ministers of Health Council. Taking to Twitter the South African Health Department shared the news.
"Congratulations Dr Zweli Mkhize on being appointed Chairperson of the SADC Elimination 8 Ministers of Health Council!," they wrote in the Twitter post.
The elimination 8 health council will be aimed at eradicating Malaria from Southern Africa within the next 10 years, the picture which was shared by the Health Department Twitter account explains.
