Kelly Khumalo recently took to social media to show off that her track Empini is still topping the charts. The song has been sitting pretty as the country's biggest Afro soul/Pop song in the country.

The stats are according to OthoritySA and were shared on Kelly Khumalo's Instagram account. The singer has kept her head amid the growing controversy around the Senzo case, and has decided to focus on her music instead.

There's no denying her talent as the song Empini continues to inspire all who listen to it. Her social media following congratulated her on the incredible achievement.

Briefly.co.za had previously reported that singer Kelly Khumalo has finally broken her silence after the latest developments in her late boyfriend Senzo Meyiwa's murder case.

The case has been ongoing since his death in 2014. Former EFF treasurer-general Magdalene Moonsamy gave a statement that expressed her law firm will be representing Kelly Khumalo in the matter from here on out.

The statement also added that Kelly has not been implicated or charged in the matter, therefore she is not a suspect in the case.

This did little to deter the masses who have deemed Kelly as guilty without a trial.
