Kaizer Chiefs are being asked questions both on and off the field as they appear to be struggling a bit at the moment.

The Chiefs had a number of obstacles at the start of the season with some players being injured and the team unable to attract any new talent.

Amakhosi have failed to impress again with a 0-0 to TS Galaxy and they received a sound lashing from the Orlando Pirates, losing 0-3.

Ex-player, Rene Richards believes that the team is not hungry to win at the moment.

"It's like they don't have energy and willingness, I mean that's definitely not on the coach because I know Gavin Hunt is an inspirational and motivational coach," Richards tells KickOff.com.
"Gavin loves his players, he gives them the same treatment and respect. This boils down to players because I've been in this situation when I was at Chiefs where most of us lost motivation and we were losing week after week."

Earlier, Briefly.co.za reported that the 2020/21 PSL season is holding strong but many high profile coaches have been stuck at home due to unemployment. With PSL teams being known for making coaching changes it's no wonder so many have been watching the action from their homes.

Maritzburg United's head coach Eric Tinkler has lost all three of his opening PSL games while Patrick Aussems of the Black Leopards lost both of his opening games. These can be worrying times for coaches like these.

A noteworthy addition would be Josef Zinnbauer of Orlando Pirates, who had to fly back to Germany for a family emergency. However, these are coaches that are still employed, Briefly.co.za will take a look at some top coaches who aren't.

In other news, there is still uncertainty surrounding the return of Orlando Pirates' head coach Josef Zinnbauer. Zinnbauer hastily jumped on a flight back to Germany due to the fact that his son was hospitalised.

Floyd Mbele, Orlando Pirates administrative manager, confirmed that the club has been aware of Zinnbauer's family crisis for over a week but there was still uncertainty. Mbele added that Zinnbauer's return rests solely on him honouring his contract.
