DJ Zinhle has dropped a new banger titled Indlovu. The star features Loyiso Gijana on her new single. The Umlilo hitmaker shared that Indlovu is a sonic representation of her desire to impact society in a meaningful way with music.
The star dropped the track just in time for the festive season. Zinhle is popular in Mzansi for dropping tracks that take over dance floors during the festive season.
"For me, the song is about hope and not giving up. It’s a timely message as the world is going through uncertainty, Loyiso delivers this message of hope in a gentle and impactful way. I couldn’t have chosen a better vocalist and talent for this single. Loyiso is a force and together we were able to create magic."
Loyiso became popular after being a contestant on Idols SA. He said wrote the song with the thought of instilling faith in himself at "this hard time in my life".
The vocalist added that the reason why 'Indlovu' (an elephenant) is a big part of his life is because "the animal pours out characteristics of resilience, patience and ambition and of course my clan name being Indlovu makes it more special".
Zinhle's fans have taken to her Instagram's comment section to let her know that the song is fire.
"It's a Hit."
"Stop it, I like it."
"It's a hit mommy."
In other music news, Briefly.co.za reported that AKA, who is Zinhle's baby daddy, has officially dropped his much-anticipated EP (Extended Play) titled Bhovamania. Supa Mega dropped the 13-track project early on Friday morning, 6 November. The hashtag #Bhovamania has been trending on Twitter since the star dropped the EP.
The EP features musicians such as Sho Madjozi, K.O, Yanga Chief and L-Tido, among others. Tweeps have taken to the micro-blogging app to share their thoughts on the project. AKA's fans have shared that they love the project while other tweeps, seemingly Cassper Nyovest's fans, have shared that they are not feeling the project. They have been saying that Any Minute Now sounds way better than Bhovamania. One fan @DeeproCrump said:
"Bro. @akaworldwid why why why? Do you know that Tsibipians will fry us today because of #BHOVAMANIA? Why do you hate us so much? Done."
