Earlier this year, Briefly.co.za reported on a group of learners’ song and spirit that inspired SA. Learners at Pretoria Boys' High School participated in a group ritual, which involved loud chanting. The act somewhat resembled the Maori war cry, the Haka, which the New Zealand rugby team is famous for.
The boys chanting in unison struck a chord with South Africans, as the moment was caught on camera. Cobus Visser shared the lovely moment via Facebook on Saturday and it invoked a very positive response. Briefly.co.za noted that many spoke highly of the school based on their own experiences.
Angy-Lee Marcon commented:
"Truly such an incredible school! My boy is matriculating this year."
