Kenyan rising star comedienne Elsa Majimbo has won the 2020 E! People's Choice Awards in the African Social Star category.

The 19-year-old shared the news on her social media on Monday, November 9, thanking everyone who voted for her.

The overjoyed Majimbo said she could not bagged such a prestigious award without the amazing support that all her African and worldwide fans showed.

In the video she said:

"We won! Okay, technically... I won, but we are all winners. Thank you so much guys I won the E! People's Choice Awards. Thank you to everyone who voted for me, supported me. I appreciate it so much," she said.

The teen entertainer also thanked E! Entertainment for recognising her.

It should be noted that E! has not officially recognised her as the winner and the awards are set to take place on Monday, November 16.

Majimbo is having an amazing 2020 and Briefly.co.za has highlighted some of her big wins in the year.

Just recently, she was endorsed by renowned international comedian and TV host Steve Hervey, who shared one of her hilarious videos on his social media.

The video was of Majimbo giving hilariously excuses as to why she could not hang out with someone due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Harvey found the video hilarious and thought it was something introverts would do and captioned the clip: "Introverts."

Many who commented on Harvey's post showered praise at Majimbo for her incredible pieces which have caused excitement on social media.

The lass also came across the post and shared emojis that showed her happiness and also disbelief at receiving that kind of acknowledgement.

Briefly.co.za previously reported that one of the reasons parenting can be a tough job is the inability to leave anything to chance when monitoring a kid. A baby got many people's heart rates up as she delicately made some acrobatic moves on the edge of her bed.

To make the acrobatic display in the video, the baby climbs on her bed as a song plays in the background. While some people were wowed by the kid's flexibility, others expressed concerns that the girl could easily fall off.
