Iris Jones, 80, who met her 35-year-old lover, Mohamed Ahmed Ibriham, on Facebook, has finally gotten married to her Prince Charming. The British pensioner even flew to Egypt to be with her lover.

The couple has now officially tied the knot after dating for a year and a few months. The wedding is believed to have taken place in Egypt and Iris converted to Islam. Momahed reportedly declared his love for Iris through social media and when she travelled to Cairo in November 2019, his feelings were finally confirmed.

The young man lives in a three-room house with his parents, two sisters and a brother, who are reportedly younger than him, according to Daily Mail.

Mohamed introduced Iris to his mother, who liked the grandma and said she was okay with their union as long as her son was happy.

Iris is a former cleaner who lives in a R4 million bungalow. She also gets a pension and disability benefit of R3 600 every week.

According to Al-Watan News, Mohamed said after the wedding that he was not interested in money or a European nationality. The couple is reported to have shared about their nights of passion on UK's This Morning show, which left many viewers shocked.

Briefly.co.za previously reported on the couple after Mohamed said their relationship was 'genuine'. According to a report, Mohamed met Iris on Facebook. It is said that the 80-year-old granny was amazed by Mohamed and flew all the way from Britain to Egypt to be with the man.

Iris flew to Egypt to be with Mohamed and they had been living happily. Speaking during an interview Holly Willoughby and Philip Schofield, the couple made the hosts shy after the lady admitted that their first night of passion left her sore.

According to the young man, love knows no difference in age, all that matters is that he chose her and the vice versa. He said:

"The love does not know any difference between age, or countries this is our life, Iris chose me and I chose Iris."
