Da L.E.S trended on social after a troll tried to shade his contribution to the Mzansi hip-hop scene. Mzansi tweeps defended the rapper from the naysayer who tried to drag him for not doing anything for the South African genre of sounds.

The hater took to Twitter on Tuesday, 10 November and asked Mzansi what impact the musician has had on shaping the ever-growing Mzansi hip-hop scene. The troll @i_iamkhanyi asked:

"Let's be honest, what did Da L.E.S give us?!?"
