Mlindo The Vocalist blames Rasta after a painting of him surfaces

- The singer was obviously not too impressed by it because he even suggested that it was Rasta's work

- Mzansi social media users were quick to come to Rasta's defence, saying that he was not responsible for the painting

Mlindo The Vocalist has taken to social media to share that he needs an urgent meeting with Rasta after a portrait of him was shared online. The amused Mlindo doesn't think the picture looks anything like him. Mzansi social media users, however, were quick to come to Rasta's defence as the artwork was not by him.

The amused singer shared the picture on his Twitter account and captioned it:

"I need a meeting with Rasta"

The portrait did not look like Rasta's work and Mzansi social media users were quick to point that out. Twitter user mora_tisile said:

"Moss that's you nje bafo, before uba famous."

CollenPhantom said:

"Yay that looks like Mlindo."

DjMjora said:

"It's not Rasta. Mlindo is just joking I think. Mlindo don't give Rasta credit he doesn't deserve. This was painted by my homeboy from Lephalale. You were there when he presented this to you."

Meanwhile, Briefly.co.za previously reported that Rasta is at it again, he has painted another portrait of a famous South African. This time his subject was the late Bob Mabena. He began painting the portrait outside Mabena's family home as they were preparing for the funeral service.

The 51-year-old icon had a radio career spanning over 31 years. POWER 98.7 released a statement following his passing:

"It is is with deep grief and pain that we announce that POWER 98.7 breakfast host, Mr Bob Mabena passed away this afternoon, Monday 10 August 2020 from cardiac arrest. The family is coming to terms with his passing and respectfully requests the public to afford them the appropriate space. Further details will be communicated in due course."
