South Africa is certainly a beautiful country. A young local couple recently discovered just how beautiful it is after making the decision to honeymoon here. Taking to Facebook's ImStaying the new husband, Leon Slabbert shared the stunning pics he and his wife took while honeymooning.
In the post, he also explains how they first considered having an international honeymoon but were left pleasantly surprised by South Africa's beauty after making the decision to honeymoon in their home country.
"I'm one to easily say that a decent holiday is done overseas because it's so much nicer there, how foolish of me. Well, we decided to do a local honeymoon after getting married and boy did South Africa treat us.
"Nelson Mandela Bay to Mossel Bay. Some of the bluest waters I've ever seen, the most scenic beaches I've ever been on and experienced the most beautiful sunsets ever, thank you for treating us," he wrote in the beautiful post.
Stayers loved the beautiful pictures. Many of them headed to the comment section where they wished the couple a long and happy marriage. A lot of them also complimented the scenic South African landscapes seen in the photos.
