- Cassper Nyovest took to Twitter to tell followers that he has had enough of petty arguments
- The South African rapper posted a series of tweets where he explained that opinions on the internet are not worth the drama
- Cass's fans took to the comments to weigh in on the statement and add their own opinions to the pile
Cassper Nyovest is certainly one of the Mzansi celebs with an active online presence. The rapper is always tweeting out his take or announcing news on the platform, so fans were not expecting his latest revelation.
Cassper took to his account to say that he was over arguing with peeps online. The hitmaker posted a series of tweets that implied that he had had enough of internet arguments and that he was done.
He posted a meme to the same effect and said he would just start agreeing with haters for the sake of saving his own energy.
Cassper's fans decided to take the opportunity to weigh-in on what he said. Some thought Cass's statement was ironic and others decided to add their own take on the matter:
@_slim_mkg: "You always come up with things like this but do opposite."
@kjmpiano: "This is self preservation, so peaceful lmao."
@VusuJSkhosana: "I've been at it for so long, my life is so peaceful."
@masieC: "You've said this so many times."
Speaking of online drama, Briefly.co.za has reported extensively on the animosity between Cassper and fellow rapper AKA. With the most recent development being that they will be sorting out their differences in a boxing match.
AKA has reacted to Cassper Nyovest claiming that he boxes like Mzansi media mogul, Connie Ferguson. Cassper Nyovest recently told Slikour in an interview on Sonlife Radio that he's going to "hurt" Supa Mega on the day of their boxing match.
Mufasa shared that he has been training hard and AKA doesn't stand a chance with him in the ring. When Slikour told Mufasa that AKA has also been sharing videos of himself training, Mufasa threw major shade at AKA. The Amademoni hitmaker replied to Slikour:
"That's not even boxing bro, that's like Connie Ferguson does that stuff... I'm really gonna hurt him."
A tweep took to the Fela In Versace hitmaker's timeline on Thursday, 4 November to tell him what Mufasa said during the interview. Tweep @MomentoThe told AKA:
"@akaworldwide dude, Tsibip on Slikour was saying you box like Connie Ferguson."
Mega, who is known for his spicy clap-backs, also decided to throw a bit of shade at the direction of Cass. He said:
"That’s funny... because Connie Ferguson would kick his *ss."
Connie Ferguson is the co-owner of Ferguson Films and is the executive producer of The Queen. She usually shares videos online of herself during her training sessions.
