Rap megastar AKA has shown incredible maturity by apologising to his baby mommy, DJ Zinhle while on Real Talk with Anele.

AKA appeared on the talk show and poured his heart out to Anele. This apparent turn of honesty and remorse shows that AKA is trying to start 2018 in a better way than years gone by.

“Zinhle was… is a great woman. A strong woman. A great mother. I was too stupid and too young to even recognise that and even see that,” he told Anele

Briefly.co.za gathered that Twitter users have reacted mostly positively to AKA’s apparent remorse and newfound humility.

AKA cheated on Zinhle while she was pregnant with their daughter Kairo. He and South African media darling Bonang Matheba started a relationship while Zinhle was still pregnant.

The couple who later became one of South Africa’s power couples later denied their relationship was the reason for the split with Zinhle, but AKA admitted to Anele that it had played a huge part.

AKA denied that he wanted to hurt Zinhle and said he and Bonang found each other and were madly in love.

“The start of my relationship (with Bonang) was painful because at the time I was in a relationship with my baby mamma. And she was pregnant. And for me, what we put her through was wrong. And I've apologised for that.”

AKA and Bonang recently split up and it looks like this time it might be for good, this has left many tweeps wanting AKA and Zinhle to reunite.
