One of the most anticipated events in Mzansi's hip-hop calendar is the boxing match between AKA and Cassper Nyovest. The two arch-rivals have been talking about the fight for almost the whole of this year.
Although both of the rappers have confirmed the match, the date of the highly-anticipated bout has not been confirmed yet. It seems the fight will take place in 2021 as both the rappers will be busy during the upcoming festive season since they've both dropped new projects.
AKA recently shared with Ebro Darden on The Ebro Show on Apple Music what he thinks the loser of the match should do.
"The best part about it for me is whoever loses needs to shut the f**k up for life. And that’s not gonna be me."
In related news, Briefly.co.za recently reported that AKA has had enough of Cassper Nyovest's fans trolling his new EP titled Bhovamania. Mufasa's Tsibipians have been on Supa Mega's case ever since he dropped the project last Friday, 6 November.
The Fela In Versace hitmaker took to Twitter on Monday, 9 November to tell some of Cass' fans where to get off. The rapper told a troll that he was on Twitter to interact with his followers not the guys "from the other side". He then hit two birds with one stone when he took a shot at Cassper Nyovest and the troll.
"Can I just ask a question. Why are you guys from the other side so invested in me? Right now I’m lit from the club tryna interact with my Megacy... here you are at 03:55 while your guy is sleeping peacefully or probably burping his newborn child. It’s pathetic dude. Seriously."
Another tweep criticised Mega for not being good at sampling. The musician also came back with a spicy clap back. AKA responded:
"Pah. Don’t you have a girlfriend or something who needs your attention right now? Mina I’m in Cape Town and my woman is at home. Wena?"
