Focalistic is currently trending on social media. Mzansi is divided over whether his nomination at this year's South African Hip Hop Awards (SAHHAs). Some social media users believe that the Ke Star hitmaker is an Amapiano artist while others are defending him.
SAHHAs announced the nomination list on Friday, 13 November and Focalistic's nomination got tongues wagging on Twitter streets. The artist is nominated in the Best Freshmen (Newcomer) category alongside Benny Chill, Indigo Stella, Quickfass Cass and Dee Koala.
Focalistic is popular in Mzansi for his banging hit Ke Star, which is an Amapiano track. He is also featured on a lot of big Amapiano tunes. Some of those songs include Mercedes by Semi Tee, Sandton by DJ Maphorisa, Ingane by Jobe London and Blue Monday by Vigro Deep, among others.

In other music news, Briefly.co.za reported that Riky Rick has dropped a new music video for his track titled Ungazinchishi. The rapper features Focalistic and Tyler ICU on the banging track. The colourful music video was directed by Darion 4K.
The visuals see the Boss Zonke hitmaker and Focalistic wearing Maxhosa Africa gear and cruising around the streets ready for summer. The video premiered on Tuesday, 10 November but has already been viewed over 142 000 times on YouTube. It has also garnered 10 OOO likes and only 151 people have shared that they're not feeling it so far.
Still on Riky Rick, Briefly.co.za reported that the musician recently took to social media to tease new music. The Boss Zonke hitmaker took to Instagram and shared a video of himself in his car jamming to his upcoming songs titled Savanna Loco Pompo and Cishe Ngaposta.
Savanna Loco Pompo is an Amapiano track while Cishe Ngaposta is a hip-hop song. The star shared that he wants to go all out when he drops the hip-hop track. He said he wants to feature rappers such as Boity and Costah Titch on the new joint.
