Mzansi singer and actress Nandi Madida recently explained how adamant Beyoncé was about having her on Black Is King. It is a total honour that Nandi feels blessed to be a part of.

Nandi recently spoke about it during an interview with MacG on Podcast and Chill with MacG. Queen Bey was apparently obsessed with Nandi and that is why she got given the main role in her film.

Learning the extent Beyoncé herself went to have Nandi on the project, blew Nandi away. Having a star of her stature fan girl over her, was something else.

“The part that is very surreal to me to this day is how she was adamant about having me be a part of this. She knows me like that.”

Nandi loves and respects Queen Bey and feels extremely blessed to have been asked to be a part of such an iconic project. It just shows that Mzansi stars like Nandi are moving mountains that the entire globe is noticing.

Briefly.co.za previously reported that Beyoncé fans in South Africa have a reason to celebrate. The starlet's Black Is King film will be broadcast on M-Net for Mzansi's viewing pleasure.

The film will see several local artists star alongside the multi-award winning singer, Beyoncé Knowles.

Some of the big local names include actress Connie Chiume, singer and actress Nandi Madida and actor Warren Masemola.

It was also reported that Busiswa wrote an emotional post thanking Beyoncé for putting her in her hit visual album, Black Is King. Busiswa posted a video of herself watching herself in the film in awe and included a heartfelt caption. She said,
