Spending extended periods of time in the hospital can be heartbreaking and emotionally taxing. This is why watching this old man's reaction truly touched the hearts of many who could understand exactly how he feels.
The clip, which was uploaded to Facebook by a Western Cape grandson Aldeano LD Pablo Hoskin, shows the old man walking out of the hospital doors where he was met by his family, whom he clearly did not expect to see.
Taken aback and moved by their sweet gesture, the granddad, who is visibly overcome with emotion, bends over as he wipes away the tears of joy from his cheeks. He can't stop from smiling at the sight of his loved ones and his beautiful wife.

Nonkululeko was in pain. She said she felt hurt, humiliated and embarrassed. She added that it was one of the hardest situations she has ever experienced in her life and it made her doubt whether or not 'true love' is real.
