- Kelly Khumalo's luxurious ride is allegedly going to be repossessed
- Kelly bought the 2011 Porsche Cayenne Tiptronic in March 2017 through a R500 000 Nedbank loan
- The bank's lawyers now want the Johannesburg High Court to give them an order that will force Kelly to return the vehicle
Kelly Khumalo is about to lose her luxurious 2011 Porsche Cayenne Tiptronic if Nedbank has its way. The singer's vehicle will reportedly get repossessed by Nedbank after sis failed to keep up with monthly instalments.
The Empini hitmaker is reportedly facing arrears fees of R62 000. The stunner bought the car in March 2017 through the bank's loan of a whopping R500 000.
She was required to pay a fee of just under R10 000 monthly up until 2023 but she has seemingly failed to do so. Motor Finance Corporation has filed papers with the Johannesburg High Court for a default judgement against the musician.
Sunday World reports that DRSM Attorneys, acting on behalf of Nedbank, wrote a letter to the star in July this year instructing her to to pay up. The agreement was cancelled in August after she failed to respond to the letter. Kelly was then served with summons on 11 September but she still refused to comply, according to the publication.
DRSM Attorneys now wants the court to give the bank a judgment and an order that will force the artist to surrender the vehicle and to lose all the money she paid in instalments.
