Ntsiki Mazwai has shared her thoughts about the dismissal of the rape case against Sjava. The opinionated poet was not pleased by the fact that Sjava is now off the hook.

Taking to Twitter, Ntsiki posted a series of tweets where she bashed the justice system for failing victims. She made it clear that she did not believe that Sjava was innocent and was only allowed to walk due to lack of evidence.

She said:

"The South African justice system works in favour of rapists..."

The poet went on to address Lady Zamar, saying:

"They say you must fall because like millions of women you couldn't bring your broken soul as evidence... I'm sorry you're going through this Zamar. Am so heartbroken."

Social media users had mixed reactions about her post; although many did not quite agree with her views, and instead called for Lady Zamar to "fall". Twitter user KushMakash said:

"Our brothers are suffering every day because of these so-called feminists, whose purpose is not to uplift womanhood but to destroy manhood. Should we just forget that Sjava's name was tarnished? How is that justice? #LadyZamarMustFall" had previously reported that singer and actor Sjava is a free man. The media personality was accused of rape by his ex-girlfriend Lady Zamar, but it seems that the court has decided not to prosecute. It was reported that the case was declined for prosecution two weeks ago. According to the publication, Limpopo police spokesperson Col Moatshe Ngoepe confirmed this.

The Sowetan further reported that NPA spokesperson Mashudu Malabi-Dzhangi said that the state declined to prosecute because it believed the evidence did not support a successful prosecution.

Sjava was accused of rape by musician ex Lady Zamar. According to Zamar, the incident happened in a hotel in Limpopo in 2017. She opened a case at a police station last year after a public break-up from Sjava.

Zamar, however, refuted claims of being in a romantic relationship with Sjava. She said that they were only just getting to know each other.
