A British DJ based in Dubai splashed over R4 million at a club.
DJ Charlie Sloth went out with his friends to a fine spot in the expensive city, had a couple of drinks, had some fun and woke up to find out that he blew through millions.
On Tuesday, November 17, the entertainer posted a long receipt that had his bill printed on it as he joked about how he planned to escape without paying.
He tagged a few friends and reminded them of how he kept sending drinks to their table during the wild night out.
Charlie’s pals laughed and advised him to get on the next plane out of Dubai and never look back.
He then tagged the club, which is located in Jumeirah, and asked them how he could settle his hefty “debt” without parting with any money.
Lol, the answer was iconic.
The DJ was asked to wear his apron and rush to the club’s kitchen where he would peel potatoes till kingdom come. His Instagram photo spotted by Briefly.co.za said:
“When flexing and showing off goes wrong.”
In other news, Tanzanian celebrity Christina Shusho turned a year older in style thanks to her close confidantes and workmates. The pastor and musician who did not expect anyone to make a big deal during her special day was surprised when she arrived at a luncheon specially meant for her.
Her pals and kin arranged a surprise party that was black and yellow themed at a serene restaurant in the city. The room was filled to capacity with people whose only goal was to make Shusho the happiest woman alive.
Decorations were the highlight of the occasion and everything looked absolutely wonderful.
Briefly.co.za previously reported that Pretoria's popular Propaganda nightclub was the scene of Halloween horror as the roof collapsed. Frightened patrons fled the club, among them Prince KayBee.
However, a number of people were injured by falling debris with some being trapped beneath the collapsed roof sections. Briefly.co.za learned that Prince KayBee had been due to perform that night and joked about it afterwards online.
