Stephanie Sandows, best known for her role on Scandal!, took to social media to share a candid story with her fans and followers.
The actress posted a self-tape and accompanied it with a lengthy caption that explained her life experience and her struggles and triumphs in the entertainment industry.
Her followers took to the comments to share their own stories and to send Stephanie gratitude for sharing her experiences.
Part of Stephanie's caption reads:
"Long story short, I am so proud of the actor I’ve become (it took me forever to even refer to myself as an actor) I look at the growth from when I started, not having a clue what I was doing (sometimes I still feel like I have no idea what I’m doing) to this. I am still not where I’d like to be but I’m so thankful that God qualifies the seemingly unqualified & His purposes far outweigh the opinion of anyone else. So, I push on and push through and little by little step into all He has planned for me."
Commenters said that they were inspired by her words, with one saying:
@butter_curlz: "Its post like yours that really makes me want to keep on keeping on especially when it comes to acting.Thank you so much for sharing your story"
In other entertainment news, Briefly.co.za recently reported on Somizi sporting a R15 000 pair of shoes whilst filming an episode of Idols SA.
In the shoe world, few are as recognisable or as widely referenced as those made by the French designer Christian Louboutin. The high-end footwear is favoured by celebrity clientele and has been a status symbol since their release in the 1990s.
It's no wonder that one of Mzansi's most fashion-conscious celebrities is a fan of the brand. Somizi debuted his latest pair of Louboutins on an episode of Idols SA and fans went gaga for Somgaga's footwear.
The shoes in question are the latest sneakers from Louboutin and have been fondly named "The LoubiShark" for their design mimicking the teeth of a shark. The pair of shoes also cost a whopping R15 000.
Like Cardi B says in her song Bodak Yellow, "These is red bottoms" when referring to pairs of Louboutins, Somizi's sneakers also display the signature red on the sole of the shoes. Fans could not get enough of the bold Idols SA look and took to social media to comment on Somizi's shoe choice:
@NombuyiMor: "Halala, shoes with the red bottom."
@sademorgan5: "Red gives you more boldness and GLAM Baby! Yaaaaas this look did it for my Fabulous One!"
@mpiraidoi: "It's your sneakers for me."
@sebapu_tumelo: "I'm size six kopa pair e one ya di shoes haha."
