- It was only in a recent interview that Zari opened up about what caused her relationship with King Bae to end
Zari Hassan recently opened up about why her relationship with King Bae ended. Sis has done her time being a taken woman and is not about to make that mistake again.
The gorgeous Ugandan socialite and mother of five ended things with her ex, Diamond, back in 2018 and slowly introduced a mystery man into the picture. Only ever referring to him as King Bae, Zari never gave fans much to go on.
As reported by KELEbrity, Zari and King Bae got married back in July 2019 during a low-key ceremony that took place in South Africa. Zari admitted that King Bae bought her a beautiful home in Pretoria and was a pretty amazing partner. Saying that, finding out that they are no longer married came as shock.
In an interview before leaving Tanzania for South Africa after a one-week stay in Diamond’s house, Zari opened up about her relationship with King Bae and what lead to the ending of their marriage.
Zari and King Bae ended thing on good terms.
“King Bae alikuwepo and he was such a chilled guy lakini kuna vitu vingine vimetokea kama mtu unaona I’m not (part of). With love sometimes shit happens, like that one didn’t last and we went our separate ways but we still talk once in a while.”
“It did not last, and everyone went their own way, we still talk once in a while, briefly, ‘How are you? How are the kids?’ because he was still attached to our lives.
“I feel very independent and I can do for myself anything I want. Having a life partner, yes but a marriage, no. I am not going to sign my life away. Single mothers are very strong and can raise good kids but you need a father figure in their lives.”
Briefly.co.za previously reported that Zari Hassan has posted pictures of herself having a girls' night in with actress Pearl Thusi. The pair looked pyjama party ready as they posed in contrasting black and white gowns.
It comes as no surprise to anyone familiar with Mzansi celebs that when Pearl Thusi posts a pic to her 3.5 million Instagram followers, people talk about it.
Even though Pearl didn't post this one, she is in it and fans got more than they bargained for when they got twice as much celebrity status as usual.
