Weddings are very important and special to some people, specifically women who would rather spend their eternity in debt but have their dream weddings.
Well, such was the case with one American lady who is set to wed the love of her life in March next year.
The lady, identified as Ireanna on Twitter, has been planning her wedding for some time now and publicly admitted the budget has been quite a challenge for her and her future hubby.
With a tight budget, getting her dream wedding gown seemed like a far-fetched idea whose materialisionwas impossible.
However, she was recently given every reason to smile by American rapper Missy Elliot, who decided to pay for her wedding gown in advance.
Briefly.co.za has learnt Ireanna really wanted the gown which was going for R19 942 and made it clear through Twitter that she was unable to get it because of lack of money.
''I am getting married in March and trying to move into our own place. Excited but overwhelmed. I have been saving money but its still a struggle. I found my dream dress and I want to get it so bad but between saving for the move - I don't think it will be possible,'' she tweeted.
Her tweet did not even last hours before Missy jumped to her rescue by paying for the dress in full, way ahead of the wedding slated for March 2021.
The rapper through the same platform informed Ireanna that her dress had been paid for as she wished her all the best even as she looks forward to her wedding.
''Early Congratulations. May God bless you both with an unbreakable union and full of love and happiness," Missy tweeted.
What came out clearly was the fact that Missy extended a helping hand to the lady who is not even her friend or relative.
''Your dress is paid for now. I don’t know you but I saw you said the dress of your dreams and figured I would help when I saw you post your cash app. May blessings pour on your beautiful wedding day with your future husband,'' Missy added.
Missy's move was lauded by many people across the world who prayed that God keeps blessing her. The rapper has always been philanthropic and there is evidence to prove it.
