Earlier today Briefly.co.za reported that former Mamelodi Sundowns player, Anele Ngcongca, passed away following a horror car crash on a KwaZulu-Natal road in the early hours of Monday morning.

Locals have been left reeling by the news of his untimely death, which comes shortly after the death of his ex, Kwaito star Mshoza, who passed away in a Johannesburg hospital last week.

Many of them have taken to various social media apps to share their condolences as well as messages of support with the fallen soccer star. Read a few of their heartfelt tributes to Anele below.

Earlier today Briefly.co.za reported that, as Mzansi continues to process the shocking news of Mshoza's untimely passing, her ex-boyfriend Anele Ngcongca was announced dead on Monday morning. This has led to many reactions over the news of the former lovers dying within just days of one another.

The year 2020 has left the world reeling as many untimely and unbelievable deaths have occurred. Mzansi was recently rocked by the death of Kwaito legend Mshoza and only days later, her ex, former Sundowns defender Anele Ngcongca, followed.

Social media has been abuzz as distraught fans tried to make sense of it all. One taken aback Twitter user NDIMZIN said:
