- A woman named Folashade Butler has given birth to a set of twins earlier than her due date
- With the help of a dedicated team of doctors, they quickly saw that she may not make her normal delivery time
- After the delivery, Folashade said she was grateful for the swift action of the doctors in saving her and the babies
An African woman living in the US, Folashade, has every reason to rejoice after she gave birth to twins at a time she was not expecting it at all.
On the day before she gave birth, the new mom had only gone to the hospital to carry out a routine check as she was 37 weeks pregnant.
After a doctor in the medical facility, Dr Lightfoote, saw her condition of swollen feet and that her blood pressure was unexpectedly high, she had to tell her the babies would need to be delivered the following day.
Folashade said the doctor did an amazing job at explaining in clear terms how she would be taken care of and why she had to be delivered of her babies earlier.
She said it is better one has a team of doctors that will not downplay serious health concerns when conversing with their patients.
