SA Style Awards: 10 of the best dressed celebs from the 2020 ceremony

The 24th South African Style Awards ceremony was held in Johannesburg recently and the invitees left no doubts as to why they were invited after they turned up in some stunning ensembles.

The South African Style Awards is a chance for SA celebs, stylists, models and designers to garner some recognition for their work.

The ceremony itself is a great opportunity to show off some extra style and Mzansi's favourite celebs did not disappoint.

Briefly.co.za took a look at ten of the best outfits from the 2020 event.

10 Blue Mbombo

Blue looked breathtaking in an off-the-shoulder dress with a thigh-high slit. She also took home some bling as she won the award for "Most Stylish Model."

9 Nadia Nakai

Nadia Nakai donned an all-white gown for the occasion that had a cheeky slit all the way up her body to the asymmetrical neckline. Nadia also won the award for "Most Stylish Performing Artist in Music".

8 Shauwn Mkhize

Mam Mkhize incorporated the theme of the night in her denim top and paired it with a statement-making black skirt.

7 Ama Qamata

Ama's look had intricate details and focused the attention to the ruffled sleeves. The rising star got awarded the title of "The Next Big Thing".

6 Thameenah Saint

The stylist-designer performed judging duties for the awards and she certainly dressed to impress in her fishtail gown with dramatic shoulders.

5 K Naomi

K Naomi opted for an off-the-shoulder jumpsuit with wide pant-legs and some sheer detailing that added a little spice to her look.

4 Boity

Boity wore a multi-coloured tie-dye ensemble with a bright green layer underneath that served her silhouette and accentuated her neckline.

3 Ayanda Thabethe

Ayanda attended the event as a previous winner as well as the host of this year's awards. Her two-piece outfit gave off some denim vibes with its deep blue colour and certainly brought the sparkle.

2 Rachel Kolisi

Rachel's mini-dress was a fun take on the denim theme and added a whimsical element with the bows on the shoulder straps. Rachel accepted the award for "Most Stylish Couple" for herself and hubby, Siya.

1 Tansey Coetzee

Tansey's show-stopping look was certainly indicative of the high-fashion of the evening and she rocked the dress like the work of art it is.

Briefly.co.za reported on the other half of SA's Most Stylish Couple, Siya Kolisi, flirtatiously commenting on social media for Rachel to get home from the Style Awards as soon as possible after seeing her outfit.

Springbok captain Siya Kolisi took to Instagram to asks wifey, Rachel to come back home. Rachel was at the SA Style Awards which was hosted at Diamond Walk in Johannesburg while the Kolisis reside in Cape Town. Rachel posted up some stunning images of her in her red carpet dress. Siya then shared some of those images with the beginning of the caption reading:
