Masasa Mbangeni has taken to social media to share that she has lost her loved one to Covid-19. The actress took to Twitter on Monday night, 23 November to reveal that her aunt has died due to the coronavirus.
Masasa, who exited Scandal! a few months back, shared that her beloved aunt, Esme, fought real hard but unfortunately succumbed to the disease on Monday. Masasa asked Mzansi to pray for Esme.
"I lost my beloved Aunt Esme to COVID today. She fought real hard . Please light a candle and say a prayer for her."

In related news, Briefly.co.za reported that the government has responded to a spike in Covid-19 infections in the Nelson Mandela Bay area by blaming reckless behaviour. A shortage of oxygen has added to the strain with the ripple effect of infections evident in the number of staff members who have either tested positive or have began showing signs of fatigue.

The media personality expressed that he couldn't control his tears when he started thinking about his late mom and dad while clubbing. The star wrote:

Lasizwe lost his mother Lindiwe Dambuza in 2016. He was 18 at the time. The YouTuber lost his father Menzi Mcunu is September this year.
