I lost a dear friend who was trying to leave a marriage that was abusive emotionally, physically and financially. The husband drove into oncoming traffic with three of their children, killing himself, her and their three-year-old last born in a head on collision," she said.

Ayanda said that the other two children made it. She shared how her friend's husband had been threatening to kill her for some time. Her friend was in the process of leaving her abusive husband.

However, her friend still had hope that her husband would change and Ayanda said that this was ultimately caused him to take advantage of her:

"That was his chance. And he took it. The trauma of it all sent me straight into a dark hole."

In other news, Briefly.co.za previously reported that Katlego Maboe received thousands of signatures to return to screens. Katlego Maboe clearly has the hearts of many Mzansi citizens as over 69,000 have signed a petition to get him back on screens despite his personal issues.

A petition was started after Katlego got taken off screens because of his relationship drama that left many shook. Seeing how many want him back despite the unexplainable things that he did is mind-blowing.
