Mpho Sibeko lands a role on 'Estates', upcoming telenovela for SABC 3

Mpho Sibeko, best known for his acting roles on Isithembiso, Scandal and Gold Diggers, has landed a role on a new SABC 3 telenovela.

The show will be called Estates and the news was announced by celebrity commentator Kgopolo 'Phil' Mphela who also stated that the show would be replacing Isidingo.

Mpho reposted the announcement to his own Instagram page and expressed gratitude for the opportunity as well as joking that his "ancestors are working overtime" because of all his good fortune.

CASTING NEWS: Mpho Sibeko joins new show. Sibeko will be part of the cast in the new telenovela on SABC3. The new show, called Estates, produced by Clive Morris Productions, is replacing Isidingo.

Some tweeps commented on the announcement but most of the discussion was around SABC's chance to dominate a primetime television slot. One tweep wrote:
