- Siya Kolisi might want to stick to rugby after revealing he drank too much saltwater on his surfing trip
- We are sure he would get better and so did many of the people who commented on his post
- He was kitted out in some pretty fancy gear with an awesome looking board
Siya Kolisi is looking into alternative sports it seems after he posted a pic of himself with a surf board. However, it did not seem to go so well as he revealed that he had drunk too much sea water.
He captioned the post of him alongside a surfboard with the following:
"That was lekker, great way to start my off day. Drank too much sea water though at least izondicleaner ngaphakathi "
Here are some reactions to the Springbok captain's post about surfing:
"One more person...just one more person who says black peeps can't swim, here u r with a surfboard, beyond swimming skill. I am enrolling for lessons right now."
"Stoked for you Siya! Thanks again for popping in "
"Nice to see you on it again ❤️ hope it was more mellow than the crazy heavy big waves last time clearly you did not need my assistance this time? ( oh how I miss my Kolisi bear hugs from that day )"
Earlier, Briefly.co.za reported that Springbok captain Siya Kolisi took to Instagram to ask wifey, Rachel to come back home. Rachel was at the SA Style Awards which was hosted at Diamond Walk in Johannesburg while the Kolisis reside in Cape Town.
Rachel posted up some stunning images of her in her red carpet dress. Siya then shared some of those images with the beginning of the caption reading: "Heyi heyi come home wena and put on your sweatpants!"
Thankfully for Siya, Rachel did just that. A few hours ago she posted on her Instagram that she was home from the airport.
In other news, Springbok rugby captain Siya Kolisi low-key revealed that he's afraid of dogs in his most recent post on Instagram. Standing at 1.88m tall and weighing over 100kgs it comes as a bit of a shock that the rugby player is afraid of the cute four-legged creature.
Siya shared an image of himself and an adorable furbaby with the caption reading: "First (dog) I'm not scared of, building that relationship and negotiations are underway!"
Many South African Instagram users were absolutely shook at this random revelation. I guess we all didn't expect such a large and powerful man to have a fear of one of the cutest animals on the planet.
