Last year, Briefly.co.za reported that South Africa will soon have it's own locally produced car and with the reveal of the first mode, the Prime8, The Mureza Auto Company is one step closer to releasing the car to the public.

What makes this car company different is that it plans to use more human labour as opposed to robots which how most cars are made.

The abundance of affordable labour in Africa makes this possible with plans to hire thousands of employees to produce cars.

The start-up is based in South Africa, where manufacturing is set to take place. The first prototype for Prim8 - a crossover hatchback - is expected to be on display this week already.
