Birthdays are super special, especially for little ones who seem to love the magic associated with the day. Unfortunately, sometimes moms and dads can't always afford to make it as extra exciting as they like. A young SA mom, however, made the most of what she had - that is good friends and work colleagues.
Taking to Facebook, Dineo MaGatsheni shared a beautiful post in which she thanked her mother's colleagues for helping her pull off a simple yet heartwarming birthday celebration for her beautiful little girl.
"Such a good day ❤️ thank you to Mummy and Mumm's colleagues ❤️ my daughter really did enjoy it," she sweetly captioned the pictures of her child sitting near a table that was decorated with a cake and other sweet stuff.
The sweet Facebook post also features pictures of her daughter and a few friends enjoying the cute little birthday setup that was made special for her by the thoughtful colleagues of her dedicated mother.
The post racked up some likes from Facebookers who found the gesture very sweet - which of course it really was.
In similar Briefly.co.za news, a grateful South African woman recently took to Facebook's ImStaying group to share a heartfelt appreciation post for the helpful man that took her husband in after he was stranded in the rain due to car trouble.
"Unfortunately I don't have a pic to go with my story, but I need to share: My husband (a big, white, bearded farmer) had car trouble in the pouring rain last night close to a small town 100's of km's from home (where he was working).
"Looking for help and accommodation, dirty and soaking wet,the guesthouses could not accommodate him.A good samaritan (black man) came to his rescue next to the road, invited him to stay the night at his house and even offered him breakfast. Can't thank you enough for your hospitality, sir," she wrote.
