- Emtee recently shared how he felt about a possible collaboration with veteran rapper Zola 7
- The Roll Up hitmaker made it crystal clear that the likelihood of such a partnership was slim
- Some Mzansi social media users assumed that it may have something to do with his beef with Cassper Nyovest
It seems a feature with Zola 7 is a golden ticket to an instant hit. If in doubt, ask Cassper who recently featured the veteran musician on the hit track Bonginkosi. However, Emtee does not share the same sentiments.
The rapper was less than impressed by Zola and will not be seeking a collab any time soon. When a Twitter user suggested Emtee collab with Zola, the Roll Up hitmaker was quick to say:
"No thanks. I'll pass"
Social media users weighed in on the response. Twitter user ThaboTb55108810 said:
"The collabo would be great but @emteerecords might look like a copycat"
"You really don't fuvks wiff Cass... I love it"
"At Emteerecords we don't switch side, we are cool bra Xo zulu"
"Lol bro he doesn't take you serious"
Meanwhile, Briefly.co.za previously reported that Mzansi has reacted to a video of Emtee seemingly drunk after he recently alleged that his wife, Nicole Kendall Ndevu, has been physically abusing him.
The rapper took to social media this week to share with his fans that his wife and mother of two kids has been abusing him for some time now.
The video was released by the parody Twitter account @AdvoBarryRoux late on Wednesday, 18 November. @AdvoBarryRoux claimed that Emtee is making false accusations about his wife. The account further said that Emtee's problem is "his drug abuse."
"Emtee is making false accusations about his wife, she is not abusing him, the problem is his drug abuse. The wife is trying so hard to maintain the marriage but Emtee is messing everything up because of drug abuse."
Tweeps shared mixed reactions after seeing the video.
@BMacbel wrote: "Maybe she's the one who pushed him to these levels, what kind of a wife would expose their man when he is at his lowest point. When she's supposed to be his pillar. You're pushing him over the edge. Where's his family? Friends, you gotta save him from the monster wife please."
