Speaking to Drum, Heavy K talked about the love of his life, whom he is set to marry later this month.

In the interview Heavy K and his wifey-to-be spoke about how they met and how the South African producer asked her to marry him.

The producer and the mother of his children, Ntombi Nguse, met at a club in Grahamstown in 2014, Sunday World reported.

However, being a celebrity did not impress Nguse at all, as she recalled shooting him down because she was not interested in dating someone famous.

Briefly.co.za learned Heavy K luckily did not throw in the towel, because he knew this girl was special.

"I come from a stable family and my parents influenced the way I view women. They really loved each other and the girl I saw had something that reminded me of home."

Fast forward a few years and now the lovebirds are planning their wedding. The soon to be Mr and Mrs Siqula then told how he popped the question.

Heavy K said he set up everything in their home studio when Ntombi wasn't expecting it. He added he played her a song and got on his knees to ask her to marry him.

The happy couple plans to have a civil ceremony later this month, with a full-out wedding following in October.

Until the ceremony in October, the iNDE hit maker would be concentrating on his music.

He recently released Sphum’ elokshini featuring Mondli Ngcobo, and his new album, titled Respect the Drumboss 2018, is expected to be released later this year.
