The fashionista was pictured kissing her equally gorgeous spouse on the front page of the publication’s latest issue and it was a moment of pride for her and fellow ladies who chose to follow their hearts.
Her wife Lexy celebrated the big step on her Instagram after following Aweng’s lead.
The two noted that this was new, fresh and desperately needed because it reminded women like them that they too were seen, heard and loved.
The model, who once lived in poverty, laid it all bare on her Instagram profile and told her fans that she was proud of how far she had come in her career.
She was celebrated for being fearless and proud of her woman.
But most of all, Aweng’s fans fell in love with how she wore her love story on her sleeve and did not apologise for being different.
