- Sizwe Dhlomo has expressed his suspicion over the recent lotto winning numbers
- The numbers were a perfect sequence of 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10, raising suspicion from many Mzansi social media users
- Dhlomo went on to jokingly suggest that the draw must have been rigged
Sizwe Dhlomo has joined the masses in sharing his suspicions over this week's winning Powerball numbers. The National Lottery announced that the winning numbers are 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 and of course Mzansi was left in disbelief.
Dhlomo took to social media to air his views about the dodgy numbers. He even suggested that the draw had been rigged. Sharing his doubts on Twitter, Dhlomo said:
“Bathi tonight’s Lotto numbers are brought to you by Steinhoff!”
Social media users were amused by his post but many also agreed that it was all very shady nje. Twitter user CoachThabiso said:
"KPMG were the independent auditors."
"Jooste himself handled that code."
"Really can't code a function that returns true random numbers. IThuba yenza njan? Just want to see that algorithm."
Meanwhile, Briefly.co.za previously reported that South Africans are confused and some are quite frustrated with the Powerball results for 1 December. The numbers have many people thinking that the entire thing was a scam as they came out as 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10.
Saffas shared their thought about the bizarre results that a whopping 20 people won. While many questioned the legitimacy of the National Lottery, others wondered how a whole 20 people managed to guess the numbers correctly.
Twitter has been abuzz since the lotto results were announced and Mzansi still cannot get over the insanely crazy results.
"Enough about Papa Bushiri. Hawks, please investigate these Powerball numbers, also the 20 people who got 5 correct numbers + Powerball. 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, + 10 #relaxed."
"In South Africa we use emotions more than we use our brains. Even if the lotto was rigged this would be the one time they didn't rig it, I mean 20 winners, 20!!! But ke we love to be outraged."
"There needs to be an inquiry. This is nonsense. #LOTTO"
