Linda Mtoba could not be more proud of her newly-launched foundation. The organisation, which was introduced to the world in September, has given away 10 bursaries to some deserving students.

The actress shared that she wants to help disadvantaged children to reach their full potential. Through the organisation, Linda managed to fund 10 children in private schools across her home province, KZN.

The media personality revealed that the Foundation received over 500 submissions with each having a touching story to tell.

She posted pictures from the handover and captioned it:

"My heart is so full. The other day we had our official LINDA MTOBA FOUNDATION launch & bursary handover to our shining stars. We received over 500 applications We gave away a total of 10 bursaries. This is only the beginning.“

Meanwhile, Briefly.co.za previously reported that actress Linda Mtoba has joined the ranks of charitable celebrities with the launch of The Linda Mtoba Foundation. The actress took to social media to announce the inception of her charity that will be co-ordinated around the needs of children "from belly to graduate".

Linda Mtoba released a statement that mentioned how the year 2020 had been so difficult for so many and how she wanted to do her part.

It is no secret that the Covid-19 pandemic has impacted South Africans in all aspects of life, with the economic consequences leaving many with a reduced or no salary. Linda is the latest celebrity to have identified something Mzansi needs and rising to the occasion.

She tagged her new foundation in her post and said its mission statement is:

"To empower children and enable them to live with dignity, where they are always safe, nurtured and their voices heard."

In other news, Briefly.co.za reported that Natasha Thahane has taken to social media to share that her dad has bought her Christmas clothes.

The stunner makes her own money but she is still her daddy's little angel. The Blood & Water actress took to Twitter on Tuesday, 1 December to reveal that she's is ready for Christmas Day, thanks to her dad.
