- Ephenia Mabeloane (38) and Sipho Rakgahla (51) celebrated their wedding day with the help of Our Perfect Wedding and 500 guests
- The couple have a total of 10 children, and the kids decided to walk down the aisle with a sign warning their dad that it was his last chance to escape the wedding
- Sipho said he wasn't going anywhere, as he loves his bride too much
Sipho Rakgahla's children surprised him at his wedding ceremony when they walked down the aisle carrying a placard that read: "Here comes the bride. Last chance to run Dad!"
The children were part of the ceremony which saw 500 guests in attendance, in addition to the crew of Our Perfect Wedding.
The 51-year-old groom had no intention of running anywhere though, as he said when he met his bride, 38-year-old Ephenia Mabeloane, it was love at first sight.
Ephenia was at the bust stop, waiting for the bus home, when she met Sipho. He said he fell in love when he saw her, and he made his move by offering her a lift home.
Briefly.co.za learned the two exchanged cell phone numbers, but when Sipho tried to call Ephenia a few days later, he couldn’t get hold of her, for she had accidentally dropped her phone in the water while doing her laundry.
Fortunately, they reconnected and four years later, he asked her to marry him, a journey which culminated in their marriage in Limpopo, with Our Perfect Wedding in attendance.
Not only did he fall in love with her at first sight, Sipho was also the perfect groom, as he arranged all the decor for the wedding, as a gift for Ephenia.
All the bride had to do was focus on looking beautiful, which was easily achieved with her exquisite bridal gown, and traditional outfits.
In total, the wedding and reception saw the bride and groom change between three outfits.
Fortunately for Ephenia, Sipho didn't take his children up on their offer to let him run away, but that didn't seem to bother the ecstatic groom as he couldn't stop grinning at his gorgeous bride.
