No love for the president: Flower sellers hate Zuma on Valentine's Day

With news breaking about the ANC recalling Zuma, people cannot wait to hear what the president's answer would be.

However, despite the ANC not giving Zuma a deadline to answer, it is widely expected the president would make an announcement on Wednesday, which as everyone knows is Valentine's day.

Some small business owners are worried the president's resignation would overshadow the day of love, and eat into their profits.

And, it would not be the first time Zuma ruined Valentine's day. In 2013, a hilarious video was released, showing two Cape Town flower sellers enraged when the Sona fell on Valentine's day.

In the video the two women were heard ranting about the streets, where their businesses were located, being closed off for hours; just so that Zuma could drive past in five minutes and wave.

The one flower seller furiously asked why the president wanted to address parliament on 14 February, while the other stated the entire world knew it was Valentine's day, how could he, who has so many wives, not know what day it was.
