Charlize Theron is joining the fight against HIV

The award winning South African born actress, Charlize Theron, has teamed up with Nelson Mandela's grandson, Kweku Mandela.

Together they have launched a new initative aimed at fighting the spread of HIV. The initiative is partnering up with GenEndIt and is called #100conversations.

In a video posted on Instagram the Hollywood star announces the launch of the programme in honour of Nelson Mandela.

Briefly.co.za leaned that together she and Kweku praises Madiba for his belief in the youth. The launch took place at the Geffen Playhouse in Los Angeles, USA according to dailysun.co.za.

Charlize Theron is a fierce champion for the rights of the vulnerable and oppressed. She is also an outspoken feminists and supported the #metoo movement.
