Take a look at some of the fan responses below:
"Forever grateful for the contribution the gave to the club, football is a short-term career, which is why boys give it all on the field and leave legendary memories and we call them legends. All the best in future boys."
"I had prepared myself for years for this day. It still feels like I felt when King Charles Surprise Teko Frank Guela left, they have been soldiers we could count on. I love them both unconditionally and wish them well in their journey. I want to also thank them for the memories."
In other Sundowns news, Briefly.co.za recently reported on Hlompho Kekana for the FIFA Puskas Award. Kekana's sensational goal against Cape Town City last season caught the eyes of the football federation and he was nominated along with ten other beautiful strikes.
This is not the first time that Kekana has been nominated for the award, he was in the running in 2016 but it was won by Malaysian striker Mohd Faiz Subri that year.
Kekana is up against the likes of Luis Suarez and Son Heung-Min to take the precious award home. This time around, Kekana will be hoping to be in the final three selected to ultimately win the award.
