Lasizwe thought that the President was too lenient and that there should have been more restrictions placed on the province in order to control the coronavirus spread.

Lasizwe's tweet read:

"My thing is they should ban Eastern Cape from travel cause I believe people will want to travel and they will spread the virus, what do you think?"

Though some online commenters agreed with Lasizwe that people should still exercise caution over the festive season because of the virus, lots told Sizwe that locking down the whole province was an overreaction.

Read some comments below:

@Afro_zamie: "They must be grounded as a province"
@CareBear061025: "I think they made the right decision. To isolate a whole province could result in people not adhering to the rules and being unnecessarily unruly and irresponsible."
@leles08837107: " We have families in Eastern Cape - grandmothers that have been alone for the whole year. We deserve to spend time with our families as much as you have with your family. PE is not the whole of EC Sizwe."

In other Lasizwe-related news, recently reported on the star deciding to jokingly challenge MamKhize to a battle of the boujee.

Flamboyant Mzansi Youtuber and influencer Lasizwe Dambuza decided to serve some sass when he went to Wiggle Cape Town to hire out a Ford Mustang GT. Lasizwe humorously challenged millionaire MamKhize to a boujee battle. While Lasizwe is nowhere near as wealthy as MamKhize (not many people are), being the funny guy that he is, he capitalised on the moment and did it anyway.

Taking to social media with a clip of himself collecting his flaming rental in Cape Town, Lasizwe decided to let MamKhize know that he’s up for the challenge. In the clip, Lasizwe is channelling his inner MamKhize and he did a sterling job of it.
