The Fergusons have done it again. The power couple's Kings of Joburg series premiered on Netflix on Friday, 4 December. Connie and Shona Ferguson produced the epic 6-part series through their production company called Ferguson Films.

The star-studded series has received rave reviews from Mzansi social media users since it made its debut on Netflix. Actors such as SK and Abdul Khoza, Zolisa Xaluva and Buhle Samuels, amongst others, are part of Kings of Joburg.

Shona and his wife Connie are also part of the show's cast. Mzansi social media users were surprised that the couple even hired American actress Terri J Vaughn to be part of the cast.

The hashtag #KingsOfJoburg trended high on Twitter the whole of Friday. Check out some of the comments below:

The star used the Covid-19 pandemic to his advantage it seems. He used his time in lockdown to produce beats and record the songs with the many Mzansi artists he worked with on his new body of work.

Sun-EL features artists such as Simmy, Ami Faku, Kwesta, Msaki, Niniola, and Black Motion, among others, in the new project released at midnight on Friday, 4 December. The star took to his social media platforms and wrote:

"Happy New Year!!!! To The World & Beyond is finally out."

Mzansi social media users have showed love to Sun-EL's new album. They have taken to Twitter to praise the Sonini hitmaker for dropping a dope album.
