Buhle Samuels is reportedly leaving Muvhango again. The stunner plays the role of Matshidiso on the SABC 2 telenovela. The actress' exit on the soapie is apparently her way of exploring greener pastures. She wants to grow as an entertainer.

Buhle is part of the star-studded cast of Kings of Joburg. The 6-part series made its debut on Netflix on Friday, 4 December. She portrays the role of Angela Masire on the show produced by Ferguson Films.

Buhle left Muvhango a few years back but came back in January this year. She now wants to exit the telenovela for good it seems.

Sunday World reported that the model's exit will be dramatic so the viewers of the popular show can expect some exciting drama on the soapie. The gorgeous entertainer previously told TshisaLive that her 2018 exit was to explore other characters and also to make time to focus on her music career.

ZAlebs reports that her return in January was to help keep Muvhango afloat as they were allegedly skating on thin ice with SABC for their low viewership.

In related news, Briefly.co.za recently reported that the Fergusons have done it again. The power couple's Kings of Joburg series premiered on Netflix on Friday, 4 December. Connie and Shona Ferguson produced the epic 6-part series through their production company called Ferguson Films.

The star-studded series has received rave reviews from Mzansi social media users since it made its debut on Netflix. Actors such as SK and Abdul Khoza, Zolisa Xaluva and Buhle Samuels, amongst others, are part of Kings of Joburg.

In other entertainment news, Briefly.co.za reported that the production of Season 7 of Uzalo has reportedly been halted. Mzansi entertainment commentator Phil Mphela took to social media to share that the cast and crew of the SABC 1 show have been told that the production of the new season will not start as scheduled.

Phil shared that the production contract process with the public broadcaster is cited as one of the causes of the delay. Mphela wrote on Twitter on Monday afternoon, 30 November:

"TV: New season of Uzalo halted. Cast and crew of the biggest show in South Africa have been informed that production on season 7 will not start in 2020 as scheduled. Production contracts process with SABC is cited as the cause and payments have not been made."
