Riky Rick trended on social media on Monday evening, 7 December. Mzansi debated whether the rapper's verse on Big Zulu's new hit titled Imali Eningi was "necessary".

Some Twitter users believe that Riky's verse on the track was necessary while others have shared that the song would have been big without the Boss Zonke hitmaker's verse.

Big Zulu took to Instagram on Sunday, 6 December to announce that the track's music video has reached 1 million views on YouTube in just a week. The track is currently one of the hottest songs in Mzansi. It is also on high rotation on radio across Mzansi and it is doing well on music streaming platforms.
