Emtee recently took to social media to respond to the accusations that he is promoting the use of drugs. The rapper, who has is a proud marijuana smoker and drinker, implied that he is doing better than most rappers who don't take drugs.
Emtee took to Twitter on Friday, 4 December and shared his opinion on the people who have criticised him for allegedly promoting the use of drugs. He asked his naysayers how they feel when someone who uses drugs is doing well than them. Emtee wrote:
"As a 'sober rapper' or whatever the f**k y’all call yourselves, how you feel when a 'stoner' or 'druggy' is doing better than you in life?"

The rapper took to social media this week to share with his fans that his wife and mother of two kids has allegedly been abusing him for some time now. The video was released by the parody Twitter account @AdvoBarryRoux late on Wednesday, 18 November. @AdvoBarryRoux claimed that Emtee is making false accusations about his wife. The account further said that Emtee's problem is "his drug abuse."
"Emtee is making false accusations about his wife, she is not abusing him, the problem is his drug abuse. The wife is trying so hard to maintain the marriage but Emtee is messing everything up because of drug abuse."
