ProVerb has added another notch on his belt of achievements. The rapper and media personality was recently elected as a member of the SAMRO board.
The official SAMRO Twitter account made the announcement and congratulated ProVerb on the accomplishment. They posted:
"Congratulations to @ProVerbMusic on his election onto the SAMRO Board. He was voted in at this year's (the 57th) Annual General Meeting held earlier today."
ProVerb responded to the post with a message of gratitude. He said:
"Thank you so much, I look forward to learning all I can and making a valuable contribution."
Social media users welcomed the news of his appointment. Twitter user @ianishhh said:

This announcement comes shortly after the release of ProVerb's memoirs, The Book of ProVerb, and after successfully ending yet another season of Idols.
Briefly.co.za reported that Zama has been announced as the 16th winner of Idols SA. The Witbank-born singer was crowned as the winner of the singing competition on Sunday night.
The new Mzansi idol took home a cool R1 million, a recording deal from Kalawa Jazmee, R150 000 worth of the latest Samsung products, the all-new Toyota Starlet 1.4, R100 000 worth of fashion from Truworths, a Kymco Xciting 400 scooter worth R120 000 and R80 000 worth of musical instruments from Yamaha.
Idols SA took to Instagram on Sunday moments after Zama was announced as the winner and posted a video of the star where she thanked her supporters for their votes. In the clip, Zama said:
"Thank you so so much South Africa. I feel so blessed, I can't believe this is happening. Thank you so much for your support, all your love and all your beautiful messages for keeping me strong guys, God bless each and everyone of you. I can't believe this."
