Shimza did not get the response he expected when he decided to side with Cyril Ramaphosa’s new lockdown regulations recently. The DJ took to social media to share that he believed that Ramaphosa did the best he could with the new rules.

Social media users, however, did not appreciate his input.

His post read:

“Honestly Cyril Ramaphosa balanced it very well”

Source: Instagram had previously reported that President Cyril Ramaphosa has once again addressed South Africans on the Covid-19 pandemic and the subsequent lockdown.

Ramaphosa highlighted social gatherings as the largest source of outbreaks in South Africa, with little social distancing being observed and overcrowded venues.

Two more hotspots were announced by Ramaphosa, namely the Garden Route and the Sarah Bartman region.

These regions will now be placed under the same restrictions as the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality.

With immediate effect, Ramaphosa announced stricter enforcement of Level 1 restrictions.
