Somizi Mhlongo had his fans in a bit of a frantic buzz after he posted a video to Instagram that showed him attending an event recently.

The celebrity was having a good time and, in the footage, can be seen playing around on a drum set that was present at the party.

Followers of the multi-talented star were outraged as the video also showed other party-attendees who were not wearing masks, social distancing or making any effort to be considerate of the current pandemic.

Somizi has taken to social media to rave about his book signed by Duduzane Zuma. The reality TV star shared a snap of Duduzane after he signed his cookbook titled Dinner at Somizi's: I Am Not a Chef. Mzansi social media users have taken to the media personality's comment section on the micro-blogging app to shade him for letting the businessman sign his book.

The excited Somgaga took to Twitter on Tuesday, 15 December and captioned his post: "Thank you buddy."

Tweeps expressed that the author is supposed to sign the book not the reader. They were not impressed that the star let the former president Jacob Zuma's son sign the book like he's the one who wrote it. Check out some of their comments below:
